Jonathan Majors, a Marvel star, was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

Jonathan Majors, an American actor, was found guilty of physically abusing and harassing his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

After four hours of deliberation, a six-person jury in New York rendered its decision on Monday.

Majors was arrested and charged with four charges of assault earlier this year in March following an incident with his ex-partner.

Jabbari claimed to have witnessed a message from a different woman appear on his phone during a night out, which is when the alleged altercation started.

Jabbari had multiple injuries when she was evaluated, including a fractured finger and a laceration behind her ear.

The 34-year-old actor declined to testify during his trial and entered a not guilty plea to the allegations.

The Marvel star was found guilty on Monday of one crime of second-degree harassment and one count of third-degree reckless assault.

He was found not guilty by the jury of two further counts of deliberate assault and severe harassment.
